What is Read The Fanzine?

Read the Fanzine was the first live music club night I was involved in, which originated in London by a mate and me who came up with the idea after one too many drink

This website documents my music promotion activities to date with a behind the scenes look at each night and is aimed at both people who attended one of my nights and those who want to get into promoting.

My live music nights so far are "Read the Fanzine", "Keep your ears Peeled", "Sick!" and "Panic!" The Smiths + Morrissey Disco.

You will notice that I don't go into a lot of detail about the bands themselves, this is deliberate - obviously I liked the bands because I booked most of them, so there's little point in me reviewing them, particularly as a lot of the bands have since disbanded.

One of the hardest things I found about putting on live gigs was getting information since most promoters like to keep their cards close to their chest.
